A friend of mine took this photo of me at the Wedding Expo that I set up at last weekend at Sandburg Mall in Galesburg. I brought a couple of the projects that we will be making at the Gifts Galore class at the Alpha Park Library in Bartonville, IL to the last class to show off, so I thought I had better show them to the rest of you as well. One of these projects is this awesome Filigree and Rhinestone brad bracelet. Isn't this great? Even though it would make a great gift, I know you are going to keep it for yourself. Do you know how I know this? I have one, and I'm keeping it! :)

Nothing! :) We had another fun night of stamping at Alpha Park Library, but something was missing. Or should I say SOMEONE was missing. Gail just hates to miss out on all the fun, but she was unable to attend the Christmas Card Crank. And since she has been checking this site almost religiously since the day she got the address, we thought it only fair that we bring the event to her. So, Gail, when you get ready to make your cards from the take home kit just pull up this photo on your computer, and we will be right there with you while you crank out your Christmas cards! And for a special surprise....I tied all of your bows for you!
Now, of course, we missed Marlene (and a few others too), but since she had the great excuse of being out of state visiting family we can't really give her too much of a hard time. Can we? We'll see if she makes it back in time for the next class on Gifts & Packaging....
Oh, this is fun, but I really should provide you with some useful stamping information since some visitors may not know Gail, nor care that she and Marlene and others didn't get to stamp with us for this event. This photo doesn't really do the card any justice what-so-ever because there is shimmer paint on the cut out leaf, and it is truly beautiful. Whew! What a day I had yesterday. Just goes to show how much I love what I do. First, I participated in the Crafter's Flea Market from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. (Got there to set up at 7:00 am.) Then packed up, scurried to get some lunch and then headed to set up for the Christmas Card Crank which began at 3:00 pm. Everyone was finished cranking out their 25 Christmas Jingle cards by 7:00 pm, and then we had open stamping. We had stampers working on everything from Halloween to Christmas cards as well as brad bracelets and other 3D items. I got home around 1:30 am and crashed into bed. I didn't even unload the car until today as a matter of fact. And I'm not unpacking my things until tomorrow, when I have to repack some supplies for another Christmas Card Crank at 5:00 pm at Alpha Park Library in Bartonville, IL. I actually still have a seat available for that if you need to crank out some cards. The class includes step-by-step instructions with color photos, so this is one you could do on your own if you can't be there. Below is a photo of the cute gift sack that your supplies will be in. Here is a photo of some of the cards I've been creating for the upcoming Christmas Card Crank events. I am cranking out the card designs by using the Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin' Kit from Stampin' Up! (And a little help from some samples that a friend sent me :) This is such a fast and fun way to make very cute yet simple cards. I challenge you to give it a try. Get a kit, and get your stamps out!
