We had a great time at our class at Alpha Park Public Library in Bartonville on Monday night. (Getting home after the class was not so fun - I ended up spending the night at my cousin's as I couldn't see the road headed west on I-74. Finally got home safe and sound on Tuesday morning about 9:00 am.) Anyway, besides the cool projects that the stampers paid to make, we usually have a display where we have samples of other stamped items from which all can get a little extra inspiration. This time one of our guests, who I don't know if she wants to be named but her initials are Gail Sexton, brought some creations that she had recently made. She allowed us not only to put them on display at the event, but I have also taken photos and will share them here too. She gave us a great idea to have a Show & Tell at each of our classes. Anyone who brings samples to display will get a free gift from us! We love to see what everyone has been creating! Thanks, Gail, for sharing and sparking the idea for Show & Tell!!
This is Gail's original work. She used the Movers and Shapers Die with her Big Shot. The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and is punched with the Modern Label punch. It has a silver brad on each side. She also used the Scallop border punch to add a layer of white peeking out from under the Designer Paper. And with the touch of White ribbon it just all pulls together. Love it! Thanks again!!
I would love to show other stamping friend's artwork here on my blog, so if you would like to be a featured artist like Gail, please send me your creations or photos of them to jj@getyourstampsout.com.

Here is the plan:
From now until February 28, 2010, $2 from every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set sold will be donated American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.
| Product Name | Item # | Price |
| I {Heart} Hearts – clear-mount (block D recommended) | 118571 | $18.95 |
| I {Heart} Hearts – wood-mount | 117010 | $26.95 |
This is a simple and straightforward plan; the more stamp sets sold, the greater the difference we make. Often it is the simplest plans that work best! Please purchase this stamp set by ordering on-line or through me personally by calling or e-mailing me at 309-335-2615 or jj@getyourstampsout.com

If you love hearts then you have to have this new stamp set of 8 different hearts. They are all different shapes and sizes with different patterns or words. It's a very fun stamp set!
This sample is similar to one of the projects that we will be making at the Alpha Park Library in Bartonville, IL on Monday, January 25th from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. There will be 5 make and take projects total for a fee of $15.

Not only is there a just a new mini catalog and a new Sale-a-Bration brochure offered, but there is amazing never-before-offered products in them! I'm not just talking new stamp images or new punch shapes. I mean there is a whole newpunch style! There is a new choice offered for your rubber stamping mounting options. And there is a new format when it comes to selecting your free Sale-a-Bration product! I will explain all of these new things in greater detail below and over the next few days, but I thought you may be wanting to see some samples made with some new things too. You won't be disappointed! I was in a swap recently so I have many projects ready to show you featuring new items from both the Occcasions Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-Bration (SAB) brochure.
This card would be great for a Valentine, an anniversary, or even just an attempt to get out of the dog house! A smaller version would be a nice surprise in a kid's lunch or back pack. You know as well as I do that the possibilities become endless!
The products used here are featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog on Pages 14-15. The hearts are in a stamp set is called I {Heart} Hearts. You now have the option of choosing the wood mount version that Stampin' Up! has always offered, or now you can select the clear mount variety. Both feature the same quality rubber that Stampin' Up! is known for, so it's simply a personal preferrence when it comes down to deciding in which to invest. I will be bringing both types of stamp sets to workshops and events, so you can see and use them both if you wish before deciding your preference.
The background of the lower part of this card is created with a Jumbo Stampin' Around Wheel called I {love} Love. It was wheeled in Rose Red ink on Rose Red card stock for this subtle effect. And the last new product used to create this project was the small heart punch used to punch out the little heart that says love. It's a new shape in the new punch style which is better than ever with a sleeker design for space-saving storage and easier to punch with a larger handle surface for more leverage. Check out new punches on pages 10-11 of the Occasions Mini Catalog.

When is the time you hosted a Stampin' Up! workshop? And when is the last time the Stampin' Up! Cofounder and CEO Shelli Gardner attended and demonstrated at a workshop you held or attended? That would be the Workshop of a Lifetime for me! And Stampin' Up! is offering this amazing opportunity with a contest.
If you have been sitting on the fence trying to decide whether to join the Stampin' Up! family or just waiting for the right time to join, now is the time! Not only is there a great Sale-A-Bration starter kit special available right now, but we could earn the workshop of a lifetime!
During Sale-A-Bration, new Starter Kits are 15 percent off the regular price (Standard or Digital+), plus, you can choose a FREE stamp set (valued up to $47.95) from the current catalogs! Of course you also get ME and my team of Rock-n-Rollers (named after the stamping technique.) Just ask me to share with you some of the stamping fun like "Diva Days" that I plan for my group.
